HF Home Station

My home station consists of a Yaesu FT-891 with a mAT-30 tuner.

VHF Home Station

My VHF home station consists of a Yaesu FT-2800M with an N9TAX J-Pole antenna..

Portable Station

My portable station consists of a Venus SW-3B Transceiver. It covers the 20 meter, 30 meter, and 40 meter bands. It has a very simple interface and works great.

The antenna I use is an AlexLoop Walkham magnetic loop antenna with built-in AlexTune.

It is powered by a 6.5 Ah LiFePo4 battery.

Lightweight Portable Station

If I'm going on a hike or walking more than a short distance, I will use my lightweight station. The station consists of a QRP Labs QCX-mini built for the 20 meter band.

The antenna I use is an N9SAB rugged nano dipole for 20m with a 1:1 balun. It is fed with 25 feet of RG-58 coax.

It is powered by a 6.5 Ah LiFePo4 battery.
